Financing
The project “Partnership for Democratic Local Governance in Southeast-Asia” is co-funded by the European Union, under the thematic program “Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development - Actions in Partner Countries”. The project is managed by the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and implemented by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) of Germany.
The project has a budget of 1,842,970 Euro for two and a half years. Seventy-five percent of project funds are provided by the European Commission, and 23.97% by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) of Germany through funds of the German Ministry of Development Cooperation. The remaining parts are contributed by the project partners, United Cities and Local Governments for Asia and Pacific (UCLG-ASPAC) in Indonesia, Thailand Environment Institute (TEI), and the Local Government Development Foundation (LOGODEF) in the Philippines.
